DNA Quantification and Assessment

We had fun in the lab quantifying your genomic DNA from your bacterial isolates. We used three different techniques:

  • NanoDrop to quantify using spectrophotometry
  • Qubit to quantify accurately using fluorescence 
  • TapeStation to assess size of DNA molecules

 

Please share your recorded quantifications from the Nanodrop and Qubit in this collaborative spreadsheet so that we can keep a record of your findings!

 

We did not have enough time to review the TapeStation results during the lab session. We are excited to share with you those results for your reference. What do you think? Is your DNA high-molecular weight (HMW)?
